«I am in a state of being present while everything is becoming».
My research stems from the personal and the intimate, developing as an inquiry into the female experience and existential questions. For me, creating is an act of emergence: bringing to light what dwells within the unconscious, the body, and the unsaid.
I work from my own lived experience, yet I do not remain in the private sphere: experience becomes a shared space, capable of creating relationship, recognition, and connection. I am interested in the encounter with the other and the possibility of art generating transformation, including social change.
My practice is multidisciplinary and experimental. I work with various mediums, including photography, video, and relational art practices, while exploring different techniques and materials, always choosing the most suitable means for the process. My work stems from the need to give form to that which has no words yet, and to transform experience into a space for encounter, listening, and awareness.

BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, on June 13, 1986. My path in the world of art and fashion has never been linear, and it is precisely within this multiplicity that I learned to recognize my own language.
In 2011, I completed my studies at the Fashion Academy and began working as a costume designer and photographer. In 2013, I went through an experience that brought me public visibility: I participated in the reality show Project Runway Latinoamérica in Mexico. During that same period, I held my first two solo exhibitions, La casa lulezquiana and Womanpower —the first steps of a journey that has not stopped since. In 2015, I was selected for the Biennale di Venezia di Bogotá, where I directed the Venecia Style collective with the project Razza Schiava: a research project on textile overproduction that I translated into a micro-collection and a fashion film. It was the moment I realized that fashion, for me, could also be a territory for critique and research.
In 2016, I took part in the Arte Cámara Tutor educational program, promoted by the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce and ARTBO, and collaborated in the creation of the Fundación Casa Studio 74, an exhibition and creative coworking space. Shortly after, thanks to my Milanese grandfather, I obtained Italian citizenship and decided to relocate to Italy to start from scratch, both personally and professionally.
In 2017, I was selected as a finalist for the Luxembourg Art Prize. In 2019, I exhibited in the collective show of Colombian artists in Italy organized by the Embassy of Colombia at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Perugia (Rocca di Umbertide), won the award for best photography in the Walk with Women competition at the MedFilm Festival, and participated in the Connexion Festival at Mattatoio and the manifesto presented with the Metamorfosi collective at Rome’s MACRO Asilo.
In 2020, I took part in the exhibitions Telefoto and Formato Chic at the Elvira Moreno Gallery in Bogotá. In 2021, I was included in The Holy Art virtual gallery in London, and in 2022, I completed a one-month artist residency at Rara Residencia, Málaga. In 2023, I was invited to FemFest in Monte Urano and to the Myymälä2 gallery in Helsinki, where I continued the Free Female Power project, and participated in the Paratissima art fair in Turin.
In 2024, I served as art manager for the Le voci delle donne festival, participated in the group exhibition You Look So Fine at Pubblica_Lab, and was selected for the Premio Sulmona with the series Dimensioni. In 2025, I took part in the collective show Forme Consapevoli within the framework of START/Arte Saluzzo, and in the exhibition Stills of Peace and Everyday Life – 12th Ed., between Italy and Colombia.
Since living in Italy, I have driven several projects close to my heart. Free Female Power is the relational art project through which I promote female empowerment. Votes for People is the sustainable fashion brand through which I bring a concrete social impact to my work. And I founded Pubblica_Lab, a cultural association dedicated to collective artistic creation, experimentation, and expression —because I believe art must also have a place outside conventional circuits.
