The Beginnings

Experiments and Early Images, 2006–2009

From the very beginning, art has functioned for the artist as an operational language: a means to articulate thought and experience where words fall short. This body of images belongs to an initial phase of her journey, characterized by direct, intuitive processes unmediated by structured research. The practice is built through repetition, gesture, and the necessity of making, transforming the creative act into a true process of knowledge.

At the time, the concept of a «professional artist» was not yet part of her horizon. The production was sustained by an immediate relationship with materials and symbols, without a full awareness of discursive or institutional frameworks. Read today, these works are not preliminary exercises, but formative documents—records of a path that unfolds through the act of doing.

Immediately after graduating in fashion design, the artist also began working as a costume designer, exploring the dialogue between image, body, and scenic narrative. Since then, the projects have never stopped: they shift, intersect, and adapt. The practice continues transversally, crossing disciplines, media, and languages, always guided by curiosity, intuition, and expressive necessity. This selection of early works and images bears witness to an intense and experimental journey, where the creative gesture becomes a tool for knowledge, transformation, and the construction of artistic identity.
