Collage is an instinctive language. It is a method that arises without premeditation, just as in dreams: fragments of images, experiences, and emotions intertwine spontaneously, generating visual narratives that reveal the deepest parts of thought, feeling, and identity. Each composition becomes a space for inner listening, where the unconscious takes form through assembly.

Manifestos of a Woman in the World is a symbolic representation of the contemporary female experience, built from everyday life and social constructs. What I experience firsthand is shared, with infinite nuances, by thousands of other women: motherhood, home, love, desire, violence, work, uncertainty, loneliness, prejudice, and resistance. Collage thus transforms into a tool for the visual translation of a collective experience, capable of making visible what often remains invisible or silenced.

Upon arriving in Italy with minimal economic resources, I found in collage a powerful, accessible, and radical means of expression. The act of cutting, assembling, and recomposing became not only an artistic practice, but a true form of meditation, resilience, and self-determination. The use of humble materials and pre-existing images belongs to a poetics that actively dialogues with art history: with Arte Povera for its attention to process, gesture, and material; with Pop Art for its critical appropriation of media imagery; and with Street Art for its direct, political, and communicative vocation.

This project is in constant evolution: I create new collages over time, following internal changes and those of the social context. Each work is both a document and a manifesto, an intimate space and a public declaration.

Through these compositions, I build a visual language that combines fragility and strength, memory and present, intimacy and denunciation. In parallel, I develop collage workshops as therapeutic and reflective tools, working both with women victims of violence and with men who have exercised violence, transforming art into a device for listening, awareness, and possible change.
